Privacy
In short
This website sets no cookies of its own and uses no tracking or analytics; for the embedded players see below. There are no forms and no accounts. This notice follows the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Hosting and server logs
The website is hosted by Infomaniak Network SA in Geneva (Switzerland). When a page is requested, the server processes technically necessary data: IP address, date and time, requested address, referring page and browser identification. This data is used to operate and secure the website and is deleted according to the host's retention periods.
Contact by email
If you write to me, you send your email address and the content of your message. I use this information only to reply and do not pass it on.
Browser storage
The website stores the colour scheme you choose in your browser (localStorage) and, only if you explicitly pick a language, that language. This information never leaves your device and can be deleted in your browser settings.
Fonts
The typefaces Inter and Space Grotesk are loaded from Google Fonts (for users in Switzerland and the EEA: Google Ireland Limited; Google LLC, USA). In doing so, Google receives your IP address and the information that this website was visited.
Embedded videos and music
Some project pages contain embedded players. When you open such a page, your browser loads content directly from the provider, which receives at least your IP address and the page visited.
YouTube (Google LLC, USA) is embedded in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com); the player may nevertheless store data in your browser, at the latest when you press play. Vimeo (Vimeo.com, Inc., USA) is embedded with the “Do Not Track” setting. The Spotify player (Spotify AB, Sweden) on the “Fluid Vision” page may set cookies.
The providers' privacy policies apply: policies.google.com/privacy, vimeo.com/privacy and spotify.com/legal/privacy-policy.
Transfers abroad
Through the services named above, data may be transferred to the USA and the EU. For the USA, the providers state that they rely on the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or on standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
You may request access to your data, its correction or deletion, and object to its processing — an email to the address above is sufficient. You may also lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or, in the EU, with your national supervisory authority.
